Swimming

For your swimming enjoyment, our recently remodeled swim area is one of the finest. We boast an Olympic size swimming pool, an official lap pool and also a fountain wading pool for the little ones to enjoy. In addition to locker room facilities within the pool complex you will find the Youth Room for playing games, watching TV and enjoying a bite to eat from our poolside snack stand. Poolside waitress service is also available. Other activities at the pool include holiday pool games, family swim nights with entertainment, as well as poolside club parties under the stars.

Meadowbrook also has a competitive swim program for all children through 18 years of age. Our goal is to provide a program in a upbeat and fun atmosphere which gives opportunities to all of our swimmers and have a great time doing it. We have an outstanding record and plan on continuing our strong success in this area. The swim team is part of the Suburban Inter-Club Swim Association. The association is made up of five other area clubs including Birmingham, Forest Lake, Pine Lake, Bloomfield Open Hunt and Orchard Lake. There are dual meets throughout the summer and the finale “The Swim Championships”. Within the swim program there are many fun happenings such as Camp Meadowbrook, a fire-up picnic and a trip to Cedar Point to name a few. Parents play a vital role in making the swim program a success by helping to run meets and planning of all the events.
