Swimming
Our recently remodeled swim area is one of the finest in Southeast Michigan. Meadowbrook members enjoy our 25-meter pool, lap pool and wading pool all summer long. In addition, Meadowbrook features a fountain/wading pool for the little ones. Next to the pool complex, younger members use our Youth Room to play games, relax, and enjoy a bite to eat from our poolside snack stand. Our Poolside bar is a great way to visit with friends in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Other activities at the pool include holiday pool games, family swim nights with entertainment, as well as poolside club parties under the stars.Meadowbrook also offers a competitive swim program for all children through 18 years of age. Our goal is to provide a swim program in a upbeat and fun atmosphere which gives opportunities to all swimmers.
Meadowbrook's Swim Team has an outstanding record and is part of the Suburban Inter-Club Swim Association. The Association is made up of five other area clubs including Birmingham, Bloomfield Open Hunt, Forest Lake, Pine Lake, and Orchard Lake. Meets are held throughout the summer culminating with Swim Championships.
Within the Meadowbrook swim program, there are many fun events such as Camp Meadowbrook, the Fire-up Picnic, and a team trip to Cedar Point. Parents play a vital role in making the swim program a success by helping to run meets and planning of all the events.
