Golf
The crown jewel of Meadowbrook is our 18-Hole Championship Golf Course. During the 2016 season, our centennial year, the golf course underwent a massive USGA standard full renovation.
The original six hole course was designed by famed, turn-of-the-century architect, Willie Park, Jr and eventually enlarged to 18 holes. The course has wonderful golf history having hosted numerous PGA events in the 1940's - 1960's including the Motor City Open and the 1955 PGA Championship. Ben Hogan won the 1948 Motor City Open here and Doug Ford won the 1955 PGA Championship. Meadowbrook also boasts having the longest playoff in PGA history.
